Sheri Levy

Sheri (Shapiro) Levy is an American Academy of Dramatic Arts graduate and was selected to the prestigious Academy Company. During her tenure at the Academy Ms. Levy starred in many shows. Some of her favorite roles were as Masha in “Three Sisters”, Olga Leonardovna in “Checkov in Yalta” and Rosalind in “As You Like It”. After completing the Academy, Ms. Levy immediately went on to teach acting and direct productions for the Young Actor’s Workout in Hollywood with Lynda Goodfriend, a.k.a. Lori Beth from “Happy Days”. While teaching acting she moonlighted as an actress and received a Supporting Best Actress nod for her portrayal of Miss Pell in the nostalgic comedy “Miss Pell is Missing” for the Long Beach Playhouse. Simultaneously, Ms. Levy launched Blue Angel Productions and directed, produced and acted in original theater productions in both Los Angeles and Minneapolis. In her last show, “Waiting for Gertrude Stein”, Ms. Levy was seven months pregnant with her second child. Enchanted with motherhood, Ms. Levy took a break from acting and dedicated the next nine years to raising her children and launching a home based entertainment marketing business that allowed her to still be active in the entertainment Industry whilst her children were young. In October of 2010, Ms. Levy, with the support of her husband and children, entered back into acting and was instantly drawn to the film and message behind “Love is All You Need?”. She was delighted to be selected to play Karen in this eye opening film and to work with such a talented crew and cast. Ms. Levy is enjoying her theatrical debut and sharing her new acting adventures with her family.
